Season 03/04
Having attended the Ride three years ago I quickly realised that Verbier was the place I wanted to spend my near future.

The freeride there is unbelievable and the park is pretty cool as well. Verbier has a great vibe, everyone is really easy going and there is a great party scene. I am extremely lucky to able to do seasons full time without other jobs and this meant I was able to get maximal time filming, doing photos, competing and free skiing for myself. We were lucky with the snow enabling a lot of the time pristine conditions to do all these.

The park was superbly maintained as well and whilst I consider myself a freerider it enabled my freestyle came on heaps. With my top tricks now being front and back cork 720s. Safety grab 900's and switch 720's.

I competed in my first freeride contest (Verbier Ride) and that was an amazing experience, my result was poor but that was due to inexperience and I know now that that is what I want to be doing and I have massive self-belief that this coming season I will get some really high and strong results in big events. I have been though pleased with my other results this season but would like to and I expect to improve considerably on big air and slopestyle results this coming season.

Filming for two movies was wicked and I cannot wait to see the end products. The photographers I worked with in the season were all brilliant. I was quite nervous and in a bit in awe when I first worked with Mark Shapiro but he quickly put me at ease. In the words of Glen Parsons "he's a nice grumpy old guy." Someone who you cannot fail to have the upmost respect for, for who he is and everything he has achieved. He is an incredible character and I thoroughly enjoyed and was very grateful to work on brochure shoots for him.

Yves Garneau - what can I say? Anyway who has worked with him or even just met him will understand when I say he is one of the nicest people I have ever met and by far one of my favourite people in the industry. His style of photography is amazing proved by the fact he managed to get some half decent pictures of me. Pally Learmond is the other photographer I worked with, again another nice guy of the industry. I was super happy with how the pictures came out and with him based in Verbier next season long may it continue.

Another first for me this season was to coach on Chris Fecher's Pure Freeride camps in Chamonix. This was by far one of my favourite weeks of the season. The camp went off. Due to Chris's mastery of Chamonix there was fresh powder everyday and we had a wicked group of clients of all ages all progressing massively. People who had hardly done any off-piste were dropping 20-30 foot cliffs and back flipping backcountry booters.

For me the season was a great success and I cannot wait to build on this through the summer and next season.

Films
This season I have been filming for premier ski movie Snows in the House III.

Snows in the house will be premiered in Leicester Square in October.

I have also filmed for Pat Sharples production Season Wars III a film for the seasonaires giving a great insight into the seasonaires existence in the trios vallee. The film not only shows the mischievous and crazy life of the ski bum but also shows great skiing including British freeskiing legend Pat Sharples himself.
